This rookery is located on Indian River Road in Norfolk. This just a sampling of this large rookery that stretches throughout this neighborhood. It really is a smelly, dirty and noisy environment for the residents living below these trees. UPDATE: Looks like many of the roosting trees have been cut down in 2013 and more will be taken down this fall. Appears this rookery will have to find a new location, hopefully away from homes and a busy highway.
