NBG Eagles - 2013 Nesting Season
Despite the efforts of the City of Norfolk and the USDA to prevent these eagles from nesting at NBG, this pair has continued to claim NBG as their nesting territory and have continued to attempt to build a nest despite the destruction of 7 nests in the past few months by the USDA. While it appears this pair has run out of time to raise a family in 2013, they have strengthened their bond during this first year as a "couple", and we can all hope and pray they will have the opportunity next year to build a nest and raise their first batch of little bobble-heads.
