The Moody Crewe is a group of local pirates formed in the Hampton Roads, VA area who portray the pirate crew of Christopher Moody who operated off the coasts of NC and SC between 1717 - 1718. The purpose of this crew will be to educate landlubbers (especially children) using both educational and entertaining activities, in the life of the typical pirate in the Golden Age of piracy.
